If you use VMware Fusion, instructions for creating the ISO should be the same, and the rest should be easier. Most of these instructions could probably be leveraged to run a macOS VM on a Windows host, but I’m sure that would violate the EULA and require some additional tweaks. It is not as straight forward as I expected, and as such, I am posting it here. Part of those instructions covers setting up a virtual machine to run macOS on VirtualBox, on a macOS host. Special thanks to TechGrlTweeter for being the first to go through this and finding a bunch of small problems with command formatting, and suggesting other improvements.
